Here are the latest photos from my missionary, Jeff, or Elder Nuss as he is known in Panama. He has found 4 different candy items in Panama with Nuss in the name (it is German for Nut). He was a Golden Bear in High School, now he’ll be known as the Golden Nuss. We’ll be able to talk to him 5 weeks from tomorrow! I’m not excited or anything.
Oh, the Christmas call! I actually try to avoid that one with my brother. It ends up being about 8 people on a party line from 4 different states and me straining to hear anything going on that Drew says, bla bla bla. I’ll just take letters. But for moms, oh the joy. Have fun!

I can just imagine the joy that comes from having your son serve a mission. I bet you are excited for the call. He looks so completely happy. What a blessing.

“Nuss = Nut” that is what I think about when I see you! The first time I saw you, you were substituting as the primary chorister . That is how you told the children to remember you…”Sister Nuss or Nut.” Well, I least I remembered that. =) I love the pictures, and I can’t imagine being able to talk to your son as a missionary! Makes me teary eyed. I remember many Christmases when the highlight was a phone call from a missionary. Enjoy!

Sweet! We don’t get a Christmas call from my missionary brother this year, because he’s going to be home in 15 days (not that I’m counting…)
